Para Latinas — For Latinas

All Generations. All of Who You Are.

There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from never fully being able to put yourself down. Code-switching so automatically you don't notice anymore. Showing up differently at work, at home, with your family, with your friends — and somewhere in the middle of all of it, losing track of which version is actually you.  If you have never felt fully recognized by the country you live in, or by the culture you were raised in — this page is for you.

Lo Que Cargamos — What We Carry

Whether you immigrated yourself, were born here to immigrant parents, arrived as a child caught between two worlds, or are third generation holding silence that was never yours to hold — the Latina experience in this country is layered in ways that most therapy spaces were never designed to understand.

It shows up in the pressure to represent your family while finding yourself. In the professional spaces where you work twice as hard and still question whether you belong. In the guilt of wanting something your culture didn't have a name for. In relationships shaped by patterns so old nobody remembers where they started.

"Healing isn't just about you — it is about everything that came before you, and everything that comes after."

Much of what brings Latinas to therapy isn't just personal — it is ancestral. Wounds passed down not through words but through the body, through silence, through what was never allowed to be named. A grandmother who survived things she never spoke about. A mother who gave everything and asked for nothing. A family that loved fiercely and sometimes suffocatingly. That history lives in you — in how you move through the world, in what feels safe and what doesn't, in the stories you tell yourself about what you deserve.  Trauma-informed therapy for Latinas means honoring that history without being defined by it.

El Estigma — Breaking the Silence

"Eso es para los locos."

We don't air our problems. We push through. We keep it in the family. Many of us grew up hearing this — or didn't need to hear it because it was simply understood.

And yet the cost of that silence is real. It accumulates. It finds its way into the body, into our relationships, into the stories we tell ourselves about what we deserve and what we are allowed to want. Depression that gets called laziness. Anxiety that gets called drama. Grief that gets swallowed before it ever gets to breathe.

Reaching out for support is not a betrayal of your culture. For many Latinas it is one of the most radical and courageous things they have ever done for themselves. And it is allowed to start here.

Cómo Puedo Ayudarte

How I Can Help

— Intergenerational & Ancestral Trauma

Tracing the wounds that were passed down through generations, naming what was never named, and beginning the work of healing what was never yours to carry in the first place.

— Bicultural Identity & Belonging

Exploring who you are across all the versions of yourself you've had to be. Building an identity that is yours — not your family's, not your culture's, not your workplace's.

— Anxiety Rooted in Culture & Histor

The specific weight of being the bridge, the translator, the one who holds it all together.

— Imposter Syndrome & Self-Worth

For the professional Latina who has earned every single thing she has and still waits to be found out. We dismantle that story by building a relationship with your own worth that nobody can take away.

— Relationships & Family Dynamics

Navigating the complex loyalties, expectations, and love that come with Latina family life. Learning to stay connected to your roots while also claiming your own life.

— Breaking Through Mental Health Stigma

Creating a space where pedir ayuda is understood not as weakness but as wisdom. Where the silence finally gets to end and healing finally gets to begin.

Por Qué Yo — Why Work With Me

I am a Latina. I have lived this — not as a case study but as my actual life. I know what it means to move between cultures and feel the pull of both. I know the weight of family expectation and the quiet ache of

wanting something that didn't have a name in the world I grew up in. I know what it means to sit in a professional space and wonder if you truly belong there. And I know the particular liberation of finally having

a space that is entirely yours — where you don't have to translate yourself for anyone, perform strength you don't feel, or explain your culture before you can begin to heal.

I bring years of clinical experience, deep roots in trauma-informed practice, and a genuine love for this work a

nd this community. I have spent my career at the intersection of culture, trauma, and identity — and I bring all

of that into every session.

Sessions available in English and Spanish — en el idioma que te salga más del corazón.

In whichever language comes most naturally from the heart.
